J. Personal data processed automatically
When you visit the EURO-GSM website, EURO-GSM may collect certain information about you as a customer or potential customer, such as your IP address, the date and time you accessed our website, information about your internet browser, operating system or language settings. EURO-GSM may also process information about a person's behaviour on its website, i.e. for example, what links they visit on the website and which goods they are shown. However, information about the behaviour of persons on the website is anonymised for your maximum privacy and therefore cannot be attributed to a specific user, i.e. a specific person, even by EURO-GSM itself. These are so-called "cookies", and an informative description of them is given below.
If a person accesses the website from a mobile phone or similar device, EURO-GSM may also process information about his or her mobile device (mobile phone data, possible application crash logs, etc.).
Cookies
EURO-GSM automatically processes cookies.
What is a cookie?
It is actually a small text file that is created when you visit any website. It is used as a standard tool to store information about how our site is used.
This enables EURO-GSM to distinguish (but not identify) individual users from one another and tailor content to specific preferences. Cookies are important. Without them, browsing the web would be much more difficult.
What are cookies used for?
Cookies serve several purposes. We therefore use the following cookies on the online shop pages:
Technical cookies: EURO-GSM uses technical cookies to make the online shop work properly (e.g. so that customers can create a user profile, log in and purchase goods and services). Without them, the online shop could not function at all.
Functional cookies: functional cookies help to prevent the customer from having to log in all the time and to prevent the customer from having to set their preferences over and over again (e.g. setting the language in which the online shop will be displayed). In this case, the customer's password is always encrypted. The use of these cookies is not necessary, but they make the customer's visit to the EURO-GSM online shop much more pleasant and easier.
Analytical cookies: analytical cookies help to improve the online shop, which ultimately benefits the customer. Analytical cookies are collected by a script from Google Inc., which then anonymises the data. Once anonymised, it is no longer personal data because anonymised cookies cannot be attributed to a specific user or a specific person. EURO-GSM only works with cookies in anonymised form. Therefore, it is not able to determine from the cookies how a particular user has behaved on its website (what pages have been visited, what goods have been viewed, etc.).
The knowledge from these cookies is also used by EURO-GSM for advertising purposes, whereby it can also show the customer advertising on third-party websites that it deems relevant to the customer on the basis of this data. If the customer wants to have control over what analytics cookies are processed by EURO-GSM, they can use an additional program from Google (which can only be run from a computer).
How can the customer influence which cookies are processed by the operator?
Simply use one of the common internet browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome) with the anonymous browsing function switched on, which prevents the storage of data about the websites visited, or the customer can disable the storage of cookies in the browser altogether. However, if the customer also disables the processing of technical and functional cookies, this will prevent some functions that help the customer from working.
The customer can easily control the processing of analytical cookies by the operator by using an additional program from Google (can only be run from a computer). However, by disabling analytical cookies, the customer will make it more difficult for EURO-GSM to improve its online shop.
Retention period of personal data
EURO-GSM retains the customer's personal data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship between EURO-GSM as seller and the customer as buyer.
In the case of the processing of personal data for which the customer has given consent, this personal data will be processed for the duration of the purpose of the processing or until the customer has given his/her consent to the processing of personal data. The customer can express his/her disagreement by changing his/her user profile or by contacting EURO-GSM by sending an e-mail to: shop@lcdpartner.com or by calling the hotline available at +421 950 77 66 55.
Personal data that are processed for the proper provision of services and the performance of the Company's obligations, or for the performance of the obligations arising from the sales contract between EURO-GSM and the Customer, or that are necessary for the purposes of compliance with applicable legislation, shall be retained by EURO-GSM for the maximum period specified by or in accordance with the applicable legislation (e.g. in the case of tax obligations, the retention period for personal data is 10 years according to the applicable legislation).
The data obtained through the customer's user account or in any other similar way is processed by EURO-GSM for the duration of the customer's use of the services and further for a period of usually 5 years after cancellation. Thereafter, only basic identification data and an indication of the reason for which the user account was cancelled or data forming part of operational backups are usually stored for a reasonable period of time.
All data processed by EURO-GSM is protected by the adoption of appropriate measures to prevent unauthorised access and misuse of personal data of customers and potential customers, consisting of technical and other organisational security of personal data. Communications between customer devices and web servers are encrypted. Customer login credentials are hashed and all your data is stored only on servers in secure data centers with limited and carefully controlled access. The security measures taken are subsequently updated regularly.
